Slovenian Cultural Society
SKD Triglav was founded on May 9, 1992. The first and long-term president was Boštjan Matjaž Kordiš.
There were 350 founding members, today there are about 250 active members.
After many relocations, the company finally settled into convenient, beautiful spaces on Kman. The association is a member of the umbrella organization of the Association of Slovenian Societies in Croatia.
Company Mission is:
Preserve and nurture the identity of Slovenes in Split, its surroundings and in Croatia.
Preserve and nurture Slavic self-confidence and the Slavic language.
Preserve and nurture Slovenian cultural heritage.
To maintain, nurture, develop good and friendly relations with fellow citizens and with the Croatian nation.
